Wild and wise!
Most people run from apex predators. Jadon George packs a camera and follows them.
Across 16, four continents, and countless close calls, the photographer, author, and event creator has built a career on capturing nature’s most formidable hunters—and pulling audiences right to the edge of the wild alongside him..
What began as a childhood fascination matured into a lifelong mission in 2008 when a troubling visit to a captive tiger facility in Thailand sparked a conviction to advocate for wild, free-roaming animals.
Beyond the lens, Jadon’s real magic lies in how he turns these wild expeditions into immersive community events and inclusive experiences.
As an active event organizer, he brings the wilderness directly to the public through dynamic presentations across Ontario and internationally, delivering up to a dozen engaging talks a month where he candidly shares his photographer’s journey alongside his personal experiences living with dyslexia and learning disabilities.
Through his dedicated wildlife community initiative, the JGP Prowl, Jadon organizes group outings, educational workshops, and outdoor events that encourage adults, families, and nature enthusiasts to explore the natural world together.
Recognizing the power of shared adventure, he also launched
Epic First—a philanthropic program that coordinates custom “dream trip” events and outings for individuals with special needs, backed by local community support.
Mission possible
Jadon’s mission is to change how people view the natural world. As he describes his diverse work: “Well, I wear a few hats as a wildlife photographer, author, and presenter. I create books about various animals and do presentations for various groups age 3–93 around the world.”
Those global adventures have culminated in his popular Going Deeper with Jason George book series, which currently features nine published titles (with two more on the way and translations in multiple languages), complete with interactive elements that link directly to his YouTube video expeditions.
By pairing breathtaking big-cat encounters with interactive books, public speaking, and hands-on event hosting, Jadon George continues to build inclusive spaces where adventure, education, and wildlife conservation go hand in hand.
